Day 1 / 25 May 2022 Istanbul – Bilbao, Spain
Meeting at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 12:00. After the ticket, baggage and passport procedures, departure to Bilboa at 14:05 with Turkish Airlines flight numbered TK 1317 and arrival at 17:10 local time. Departure to San Sebastian by our private bus accompanied by Bahar Akıncı. After an hour’s journey, we will check-in at our hotel and taste the most delicious “pintxos” in the most popular bars of the city with Bahar Akıncı’s narration on the streets of San Sebastian. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 2 / 26 May 2022 San Sebastian, Spain
After breakfast at our hotel, we will start our day with a city tour of San Sebastian. While walking around the streets of the city, we will see the Gothic Church of San Vicente, the Kursaal Palace, the Royal Palace of Maria Christina by the sea, and the Basilica de Santa Maria del Coro. Our lunch is at the 3 Michelin-starred Arzak Restaurant. Elena ARZAK, one of the world’s most successful female chefs, following in her father’s footsteps, is one of the only chefs who can modernize traditional cuisine while preserving its essence in this journey she started 27 years ago. After dinner, we continue our city tour. Dinner is pintxos flavors with Bahar Akıncı’s recommendations. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 3 / 27 May 2022 Vitoria – Gasteiz & Rioja Region & Elciego,Spain
After breakfast, we leave our hotel and go on a journey to admire the magnificent nature of the north along the way. Our first stop today is Vitoria-Gasteiz. This city, which has 42 m2 green area per person, will give you an interesting Medieval Town experience. After our tour, we set out for the Rioja Region, which is famous for its wines. We take our lunch in El Ciego Village at Marquez de Riscal by Frank Ghery. Marquez de Riscal, which will fascinate you with its contemporary architecture, will leave you unforgettable tastes both visually and on your palate. You will enjoy the nature and the region to the fullest in this place where we will visit the vineyards and take the tasting tour. We return to our hotel in the evening. Our dinner is free. Overnight at our hotel.
4.Day / 28 May 2022 Jean de Luz & Biarritz, France
After our breakfast, a very special day awaits us. Our first stop today is the French town of Biarritz, which is very close to the Spanish border, famous for its colorful houses. Free time for shopping and lunch after visiting this charming town where you can find luxury boutiques selling the products of French fashion designers, stylish patisseries, restaurants, bars that revive the appetizer culture and more. After our free time, we will set out for the town of St Jean de Luz. Sun King will welcome you with a different beauty in every corner of this charming seaside town where Louis XIV got married. Our dinner is at Rekondo. You will have the chance to experience the incredible flavors of the Basque region in the restaurant, which has one of the best wine cellars in the world. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 5 / 29 May 2022 Bilbao – Istanbul, Turkey
We take our breakfast in the morning and leave our hotel after our check-out procedures. Our first stop after arriving in Bilbao is the Guggenheim Museum. After visiting the museum with the guide, we start our city tour. The works of art you will see along the river are works made during the urban transformation of the city of Bilbao. At the end of this walk, we come to the old city, where we will see the Government House, City Hall, San Anton Church and Santiago Cathedral. Our lunch at the end of the tour is at the legendary Cafe Ivuna, which was opened in 1903. Then we go to Bilbao Airport. Our flight is TK 1318 and takes off at 18:10 local time. Our arrival in Istanbul is at 23:10. Welcome!
