Day 1 / 8 May 2023 / Monday ISTANBUL – MALAGA
The beautiful breeze of the Mediterranean, which is not so foreign to us, will welcome us in this beautiful port city. We will start our day by having our lunch. Then, after a panoramic city tour in Malaga, we will visit the Botanical Gardens and Malaga coast. The unfinished Malaga Cathedral will secretly whisper the traces of Andalusia that is wanted to be forgotten. Right on the outskirts of the Alcazaba, the next stops will be the famous Picasso museum with its impressive and interactive museum and the Roman Theater. The first founders of the city, the Phoenicians, built the city as a fishing colony. While we are in Malaga, we will also visit the shabby fish restaurants on the beach, the continuators of this 3000-year-old tradition. After a free time for shopping and sightseeing in the stylish streets of modern Malaga, we set off for Granada. After settling in our hotel in Granada, we will go to the restaurant where we will have dinner.
Day 2 / 9 May 2023 / Tuesday GRANADA
After breakfast at the hotel, we take to the streets to get to know the city of Granada better. Alhambra Palace is undoubtedly the first thing that comes to mind when Granada, the pearl of Andalusia, is mentioned. Our first stop in Granada will be the Alhambra Palace with its magnificent gardens and unbelievably beautiful decorations. During our long palace tour, we will both admire the wonders of the Beni Ahmer Kingdom and embrace Granada, which we will see from the San Nikolas Hill, which is the exit of the palace. After visiting the palace, we have our lunch at a local restaurant. Then the city awaits us; In Albacin, the old Arab quarter, we will walk the steep streets to the pleasant tunes of street artists, see the Mora whole Mosque, reach the main street of the city, Gran Via street, and Isabel de Catholica square, which is named after the queen of the city. After a short coffee or mint tea break, Granada Cathedral and the bazaars await us. While our guests can visit the bazaars of this beautiful city, our guests can taste the famous tapas in the cafes in the city’s beautiful squares that welcome you at every corner. We will transfer to our hotel for accommodation with good memories, albeit short, from the pleasant evenings of Granada. Our dinner will be at a local restaurant.
Day 3 / 10 May 2023 / Wednesday GRANADA – CORDOBA – SEVILLA
Sabah kahvaltı sonrası Granada’dan hareket ile 2 saatlik bir yolculuk ile ulaşacağımız Roma İmparatorluğu döneminde bölgenin başkenti olan Cordoba’da bizi ilk olarak Guadalquivir nehri karşılayacak. Tarihi Roma köprüsünün üzerinden yürüyüp, Roma kapısını geçerek kente giriş yapacağız. 2000 yıllık kentin, en görkemli yapısı, dünyanın en büyük camilerinden olan, 850 adet sütun üzerinde yükselen Kurtuba Ulu Camii’ni ziyaret edeceğiz. Kurtuba Camii’nin görkemine tanıklık ettikten sonra durağımız eski sokaklar. Yolumuz üzerinde Cordoba’nın çiçek sokakları, Endülüs mimarisinin tüm inceliğini yansıtan eski han ve Cordoba evleri var. Birbirinden güzel avlulardan geçerken, havuzlarda şırıldayan suyun sesi kulaklarımızı dolduracak, gözlerimiz ise bin bir renk çiçeklerleri seyre dalacak. Öğle yemeğimizi Cordoba’da yerel bir restoranda alacağız. Son olarak Cordoba’nın ünlü filosofları Seneca, İbn Rüşd, İbn Meymun’u daha yakından tanıdıktan sonra, tarihi şehir merkezinde vereceğimiz kısa bir serbest zamanın ardından, 2 saatlik bir yolculuk ile Sevilla’daki otelimize geçeceğiz. Akşam yemeğimizi Sevilla’da alacağız.
Day 4 / 11 May 2023 / Thursday SEVILLA
After breakfast at our hotel in the morning, we will start our tour in Seville with the Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, where Plaza de Espana is located, and continue with the Tobacco Factory, where the gypsy Carmen, the main hero of Carmen Opera written by Georges Bizet, works. In Seville, the gateway of the Spanish Empire to colonies, it is possible to see the traces of the wealth obtained from the colonies in every corner. Seville Cathedral, the third largest cathedral in the world, with the tomb of Cristof Columbus inside, is our next stop. Right next to the cathedral, we will see the Hiralda Minaret, the last surviving piece from the mosque on which the cathedral was built, which bears the memory of the Andalusian Umayyad State. After having our lunch at a local restaurant, we will take our walking tour accompanied by our guide, passing through the Alcazar, the palace of the Castilian kings shaped by the architecture of the common Andalusian and Christian heritage, and the “old” Seville, where the records of all sea voyages to the Americas from the discovery to the 19th century are kept. We will reach the old narrow streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, which is called At the end of our walk, we will reach the Guadalquivir river after seeing the Torre del Oro, the Golden Tower, which is now a maritime museum, and after our free time we will return to our hotel. In the evening, we will end our night with a unique flamenco night in this city where flamenco dance was born.
Day 5 / 12 May 2023 / Friday SEVILLA – RONDA – MARBELLA – MALAGA
In the morning, after breakfast, we will first go to the city of Ronda. The town of Ronda, located within the borders of the city of Malaga, is a very popular tourist destination. The city is divided into two by a canyon formed by the Tajo River and is built around a 100 m deep cliff. With its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, historical bridges and incredible scenery, it looks like a town out of a fairy tale. One of the last cities of the Muslims in the Iberian Peninsula, immortalized by E. Hemingway’s “For Whom the Bell Tolls” and making history with the events during the Spanish Civil War, the town is among the must-see places with its Roman, Islamic and Medieval monuments.
After our tour in Ronda, we will arrive in the world famous Marbella, one of the most luxurious resorts in Spain. After having our lunch in Marbella, we will visit the town of Marbella, which has been developing day by day since the 1960s and has become one of the important destinations of the south, and we will end our tour here by passing the famous marina Puerto Banus and the shopping street with its luxury shops. After our tour, we go to our hotel in Malaga for accommodation. We have our dinner in Malaga.
Day 6 / 13 May 2023 / Friday MALAGA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast at our hotel in Malaga, we will arrive at Malaga airport after free time in the city. After completing our check-in process here, we will return to Turkey with fairytale memories of Andalusia….
