Day 1 / 26 April 2023 / Wednesday ISTANBUL – AMMAN
Meeting at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 09:30. Depart for Amman at 12:05 with Turkish Airlines flight numbered TK 816 after ticket, baggage and passport procedures and arrive at 14:20 local time. Following the arrival, we start our City Tour in Amman, the modern capital of Jordan, built on 7 hills like Rome in the past and now covers at least 19 hills with our private bus. We visit the Roman Theatre, the Folklore Museum, the Archaeological Museum and the Amman Fortress, which is located on one of the 7 hills that make up Amman, which is still used for cultural and artistic activities with its capacity of six thousand people in the city, which is a mixture of contrasts, modern and old. Due to the city’s modern-day prosperity and mild climate, almost half of Jordan’s population is concentrated in the Amman Region. According to a municipal law that states that all buildings must be paved with local stone, residential areas are mostly composed of tree-lined streets and avenues lined with elegant, almost monotonous white houses. The downtown area is much older and more traditional, with small businesses making and selling everything from gorgeous jewelry to everyday household items. The people of Amman are multicultural, multi-denominational, well-educated and extremely hospitable. They welcome visitors and are proud to show them their charming, vibrant city. Transfer to our hotel in the evening, settling in our rooms. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Day 2 / 27 April 2023 / Thursday JERASH – DEAD SEA
After breakfast at our hotel, a wonderful day awaits us. Today, we set out for and visit the Ancient City of Jerash, which has a 6500-year-old history and has been under the ground for centuries since the earthquake in 749 AD. Then we visit the Baptismal Site, an archaeological World Heritage site. Afterwards, we set out for the Dead Sea, after having our lunch at the Marriott Dead Seas Hotel, we enjoy the Dead Sea until the evening hours. We return to Amman in the evening and have our dinner at Jordan’s Fakhreldin Restaurant. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 3 / 28 April 2023 / Friday WADI RUM
After breakfast, we complete the check-out process at our hotel and set off for Wadi Rum. Regarding our arrival in Wadi Rum after a journey of about 5 hours; We are moving to the desert reminiscent of the planet Mars, to a specially designed campsite. We take our lunch at the camp as an Open Buffet. After lunch we enjoy the unlimited free spaces and explore 4000 year old rock drawings, canyons, waterholes and many other amazing treasures. Afterwards, we enjoy the two-hour jeep tour. We have our dinner at the camp. An unforgettable experience awaits us after dinner. In the extraordinary landscape of Wadi Rum, we observe the stars under the clear sky using large professional astronomical telescopes, together with an experienced astronomer. Constellations will be clear and visible. Accommodation at our Camping Hotel.
Day 4 / 29 April 2023 / Saturday PETRA – AQABA
After breakfast, we set off for the Ancient City of Petra. We are starting our Petra Ancient City Tour, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, selected as one of the 7 wonders of the world, and was the capital of the Nabataean Kingdom between 400 BC and 106 AD. In the city, also known as the “Pink City” due to the color of the pink, red, yellow and orange rocks, we see Al-Khazneh (Treasure), Roman Theater and King’s Tombs. We take our lunch at Basin Restaurant, located in the heart of the Petra Region mountains, between “Um Sihon Village” and “Musa Valley” in the Old City. We enjoy an enjoyable dining experience surrounded by the beautiful Petra Mountains. We go to Aqaba in the evening. We will have dinner at our luxury hotel where we will stay. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 5 / 30 April 2023 / Sunday AQABA – ISTANBUL
Breakfast at our hotel and a short panoramic tour of Aqaba. Free time for our guests to benefit from the facilities offered by our hotel. We will host you on a private boat tour in the afternoon. After dinner at our hotel, departure to Aqaba Airport at night. After the ticket, baggage and passport procedures, Turkish Airlines flight TK 819 (01 May 2023) departs for Istanbul at 01:35 and arrives at 04:30 local time.
